Rotate credentials
Replace repository credentials when access changes or a token may have been exposed.
What rotation does
Rotation invalidates the previous repository credentials and issues replacements that Console displays once.
When to rotate
- A token appears in a screenshot, recording, log or source repository.
- A maintainer or CI secret is retired.
- Your organization rotates credentials as part of normal security hygiene.
